This song acts as a transition from who I was as a songwriter to who I currently am. For the first time I had written an entire song, opposed to just the music like I had always done up to that point. For the first time I wrote words that meant something to me, and sang them to a melody that I thought was nice. I recorded myself playing that song and sent it to my band mate at the time. He didn't even think highly enough of it to respond to me. He never said a single word about it. I'm assuming he thought the music he wrote was so far above anything that I could ever create.
lyrics
I see right through you,
and the world you made,
where you're the best at everything,
where everybody knows your name,
youre not right in the head.
Seated up in the sky,
I hope it's cold,
you're all alone,
and miserable.
